Tobias Maier
Tobias Maier brings a wealth of expertise in finance, digital innovation, and strategic development to his new position. Since becoming a member of DHL in 2008, he has held a number of management positions, most lately serving as CFO for the Center East & Africa area and CEO of Saloodo! Center East & Africa, DHL’s digital freight platform. Tobias has been instrumental in driving regional M&A actions, increasing the corporate’s footprint in key markets corresponding to Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Ethiopia and the UAE, and establishing modern initiatives corresponding to DHL’s RailDirect three way partnership with Etihad Rail.

Amadou Diallo leaves behind a legacy of development and innovation, and a powerful tradition of engagement. Since taking the helm in 2017, he has considerably expanded DHL World Forwarding’s presence throughout the Center East and Africa, championed sustainable logistics options, and overseen a interval of great funding in these strategically vital markets. He appears again on over 30 years of expertise in worldwide logistics and finance management roles inside DHL Group, having beforehand held the roles of world CEO, DHL Freight and CEO for DHL World Forwarding in several areas corresponding to South Asia Pacific. Born in Senegal, he has been a passionate advocate for youth empowerment in Africa and has actively supported initiatives centered on healthcare and meals safety by his philanthropic and non-executive volunteer work.
