Anthony Rjeily, the Managing Partner of EY’s Business Consulting practice in Canada, has relocated to Saudi Arabia to take on the same role for the MENA region.
The new regional lead brings more than 30 years of consulting experience and has been with EY since 2018. In his new role, he will oversee the strategic direction, go-to-market capabilities, and talent agenda for EY’s Business Consulting teams across 26 offices in 15 countries.
The Business Consulting practice sits within EY’s broader Consulting business and helps organisations improve how they operate, compete, and transform, bridging strategy and execution. Its capabilities span strategy, operations, customer transformation, and end-to-end business change. The practice works closely with Technology Consulting on technology-enabled transformations and with EY-Parthenon on transactions and strategic advisory engagements.
“We are delighted to appoint Anthony as MENA Business Consulting Leader. He brings deep expertise in business transformation, customer strategy, supply chain and operations, finance, and program delivery. In his previous role as Canada’s Business Consulting Leader, he successfully led multidisciplinary teams and oversaw some of our most complex transformation programmes, helping clients drive growth through digital engagement and enterprise transformation,” said Paolo Lobetti Bodoni, EY’s Global Business Consulting Leader.
During his three years leading the Canadian practice, Rjeily guided the business through a period of growth. He also served as executive sponsor of EY’s Neuro-inclusion programme, which creates employment opportunities for neurodivergent individuals pursuing careers in accounting, tax, and consulting.
Throughout his career, Rjeily has led large-scale business transformation and commercial programmes for clients across multiple industries, including consumer goods and financial services.
Before joining EY, he was a partner at KPMG in its Financial Services practice. Earlier, he spent nearly two decades at Accenture, where he rose to Managing Director and led the firm’s Digital practice within Financial Services, overseeing the banking, insurance, and capital markets sectors.
“Anthony combines a strong track record of client impact with a commitment to fostering diverse and high-performing teams. We wish him every success in his new role,” added Bodoni.
